Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Lowcountry AI LLC collects, why, who handles it for us, and how long we keep it. It covers this website, our podcast clip service and our emails. What we collect

When you email us: your name, your email address and what you write.
When we email you about our service: your name, your show's name, and the contact details and episode information your show publishes.
When you buy: your name, email address, podcast name and, if you include one, your episode link, plus the billing details you give our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
To make a sample or your clips: your episode, the transcript made from it, the clips we cut, and our notes on each clip.
Server logs: our web server records the IP address, browser type and time of each request, and the page or file requested. Your download page keeps no other record.
Cookies: this website and your download page set no cookies and load no tracking scripts. We do not let other companies track you across sites here, so a browser's Do Not Track signal changes nothing on this site.

How we use it

To make and deliver your clips.
To answer you, and to keep a record of our emails.
To bill you and keep the financial records the law requires.
To check and improve our own work, using delivered clips and our notes on them.
To tell podcasters about our service. Every sales email says it is one, and replying "stop" ends them.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Neither we nor our service providers use your files to train AI models.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting and network services, backups, transcription, moment finding, payments, email and document storage. Each receives only what its job needs and handles it under its own privacy terms. Our backups are encrypted and never contain your episode or clip files.

How long we keep it

Episode files: deleted within 30 days of delivery.
Clips: available to download for 90 days. After that we may keep copies to check our own work, until you ask us to delete them.
Transcripts, job records and our notes: kept until you ask us to delete them.
Emails with you: kept as business records.
Billing records: as long as tax law requires, usually seven years.
Sales emails: your details stay until you ask us to stop. After that we keep only your email address, on a do-not-contact list, so we never email you again.
Server logs and backups: deleted automatically on a rolling schedule.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@lowcountryaisystems.com. We answer within 30 days. We keep what the law requires us to keep, such as billing records, and our do-not-contact list. Copies in our backups disappear as those backups roll over.
To stop sales emails, reply "stop".

Security

We limit who can reach your files and use reasonable safeguards to protect them. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if we learn that your information was accessed without permission.

Children

Our service is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Where we operate

We are based in South Carolina and offer our service to clients in the United States. We store client files and our backups in the United States.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with its date. If a change affects information we already hold, we email clients with an active plan before it takes effect, and we do not use information we already hold in a new way without asking you first.
